we only do this event ONCE a year,
and it’s without doubt one of the most exciting, informative, in-demand days EVER.

The ‘tune up’ day with Ben Alldred is so popular that we always struggle to accommodate demand.
This year, our aim is to see EVERYONE, so we are going to be holding this event ALL weekend!!!

In case you haven’t experienced an Evans Tuning Day, allow us to set the scene.

Learn all about Evans drumheads, discuss sounds, the material your drum is made from, music you like and your playing style.

Then get down to head choices AND have your drums tuned by a drum tuning guru.

Any products that are needed to improve or enhance the sound or performance of your drum

(e.g. Evans drumheads, Puresound Wires, etc.) will be charged for.

You’ll be allocated a time slot so it’s 1-2-1 and all about you, baby!!!

Your drums will be stripped, heads replaced and tuned to perfection.

If you don’t want to bring any drums in at this time,
you’re more than welcome to hang out in-store to learn everything there is to learn,
listen in, watch what’s going on with the kits etc.

Leave DD all clued up with a tonne of knowledge, a fresh drum sound,
feeling rather confident and busting to smash your next gig.

Specialist advise at a specialist store. Game changer…!!!

The tuning workshop is free to attend and runs from 10am to 5pm on Sat 27th Jan.

1-2-1 pre booked time slots.

We’ll chat about sound, music, playing style and the material your snare / kit is made from.

Your drums will be stripped and the right heads chosen.

Then it will be tuned to perfection by our Evans tuning expert(s).

You’re welcome to hang out in-store to learn everything there is to learn about Evans Drumheads as well as listen in / watch what’s going on with other kits etc.

Advice on Evans drumheads, chatting to the Evans team, stripping your kit ready for tuning, learning how to tune and the tuning of your drum is 100% free. Any products that are needed to improve or enhance the sound or performance of your drum (e.g. Evans drumheads, Puresound snare wires, etc.) will be charged for.

We are still fully operational as an online retailer and our ‘Click and Collect’ service

is still running if you’d rather order something and arrange to collect it

without the need for looking around.

• It is mandatory to wear a face mask in all indoor public places so please make sure your face mask is on before entering the store.

• On your arrival at the store please use the hand sanitiser provided.

• Staff and customers must stay 2 metres apart at all times.

• For the time being we won’t be offering our usual choice of refreshments, (coffee, tea, soft drinks) and we’re unable to hug, do high fives and participate in drummer style hand shakes.

• Demo sticks are unavailable at this time. If your visit is to try something out please bring your own sticks or feel free to buy yourself a new pair when in store.

• We want you to feel at ease looking around the store but please refrain from tapping, touching and drooling over items.
