Yes, you read that right! We were lucky enough to sit down and have a chat with the KING of electronic & hybrid drumming Mr Andy Gangadeen.

Beginning his drumming career at 17 with lessons from Bob Armstrong and jamming across London, Andy quickly built up a reputation as one of the most desirable drummers in the UK.His first big break coming in 1990 with singer Lisa Stansfield he then went on to play with artists like Incognito, Duran Duran, Massive Attack and the Spice Girls, Jeff Beck and as part of the Jonathan Ross house band, before deciding to take a step back and work on his own project called “The Bays.”

Since 2009 Andy has been playing with chart-topping EDM act Chase & Status. Headlining major festivals around the world and receiving nominations for many awards including winning Brit awards.

Endorsed by the likes of Zildjian, Roland, Vic Firth, Natal, and Remo. Andy has been at the forefront of pushing the limits of using electronics in drumming since the late 80s and is one of THE leading experts in hybrid drumming.

Alongside these major commitments, he became musical director for several hugely successful touring acts including Labrinth, Rudimental, Clean Bandit, Anne Marie and Wilkinson.

…Phew with a CV like that, there’s no doubt at all that he truly deserves the monkier of LEGEND.
