Tuning can be an absolute minefield, so time consuming and extremely frustrating to say the least.
Let’s help with that…
This is YOUR chance to learn how to tune with ease and get the sound YOU want from YOUR drums in our fun, friendly and informal Evans tuning event. Let the tuning guru(s) help you discover the incredible potential of YOUR drums.
No more of this;
“Ahhhhh tuning, I just can’t do it”
“I hate tuning, PLEASE help me”
“I never tune my kit, I just let the guitarist do it”
What awaits is a tonne more screaming and adoring fans as you take your tone to a whole new level.
The Plan
The tuning workshop is free to attend and runs from 10am to 5pm on Sat 27th Jan.
1-2-1 pre booked time slots.
We’ll chat about sound, music, playing style and the material your snare / kit is made from.
Your drums will be stripped and the right heads chosen.
Then it will be tuned to perfection by our Evans tuning expert(s).
You’re welcome to hang out in-store to learn everything there is to learn about Evans Drumheads as well as listen in / watch what’s going on with other kits etc.

We’ll ask you a few quick questions, take some contact info and discuss what you’re bringing down.
Once we have all of the above info, we’ll confirm your place and allocate you a time slot!

Learning all about Evans drumheads, drum tuning and all drum head advise at this event is free. Any products that are needed to improve or enhance the sound or performance of your drum (e.g. Evans drumheads, Puresound Snare Wires, etc.) will be charged for.
Please arrive in-store at least 20 minutes before your allocated time slot.
If you’re unable to make it, PLEASE, let us know so we can try to offer your slot to another drummer.
Drum Depot reserve the right to change or cancel any event without prior notice.
You must confirm how many drums you are bringing with you prior to the event in order for us to allocate a suitable amount of time. Any extra drums brought in on the day will not be re-headed or tuned.
