- Hybrid Maple/Walnut Shell – The hybrid shell emits a deep yet clear warmth as the clarity of Maple compliments the low frequencies of Walnut creating an exceptionally strong and resonant instrument.
- SONIClear™ Bearing Edge – SONIClear™ Bearing Edge is standard on all Saturn series Shells, allowing the drumhead to sit flatter on the shell, making better contact.
- SONIClear™ Tom Suspension System – The SONIClear™ tom suspension system increases overall resonance by preserving drumhead and shell vibration.

- SAS Static 90° Floor Tom Leg – The straighter the path to the floor, the more sound loss: the static 90° Design Lab leg preserves the maximum amount of resonance in the floor tom.
- Sonic Pedestal Foot – The steel leg is prevented from contacting the ground by an internal cotter pin, allowing the floor tom to “float” on the elevated “spring” of the rubber foot, eliminating vibration and maximizing resonance.
