On one side, the birch core option gives you the mass and impact you would expect from a conventional drumstick. Flip the rod for the foam core and you get a softer, more pliable option for those moments when you need to quickly drop the volume or change your sound. The longer expanse of rods can be adjusted with the control rings, allowing even more tailoring of TwinRods to suit your own playing style.
