SONOR’s design team worked closely with some of the top SONOR artists to create the proper sound. The result of this collaboration are thin Beech shells for all bass drums and thick Beech shells for snare drums, tom toms and floor toms. The result is a full rich tone, powerful and clear. No matter where you play it, the woodshed, the recording studio or the stage, you’ll lay down a perfect performance with the Ascent series.
The Beech shells deliver maximum strength, perfect curving and neutral tuning, due to the tension-free cross lamination of individual plies of wood (CLTF Cross Laminated Tension Free Process).

Wear & Tear
This Shell Pack is in Very Good condition with some minor marks throughout, see images for example;
- Shells: Very Good condition with no major structural damage. The Bass Drum hoops feature some marks from where the pedal has been connected.
- Heads: Stick marks on the heads.
- Finish: Slight marks in the finish from general wear but otherwise is Very Good condition.
- Shell Hardware: Very Good condition overall with some scuff/scratch marks on some of the hoops/lugs/mounts/fittings from general wear. Tom Holders feature the most wear to their finish. Floor tom legs are mismatched (2 x Chrome / 1 x Black Finish)
- Any marks are purely cosmetic and do not affect the sound / performance
